Double eyelid: incisional vs non-incisional — how did you decide?

I have quite a bit of skin + some fat above my eye, and I'm 31. Every video says non-incisional is "more natural, less downtime" but also that it can come undone.

For people who've done the research or consults: what made you lean one way? I don't want something that falls out in 2 years but also don't want a huge obvious line.

From what I understand, thicker/heavier lids and extra skin tend to push surgeons toward incisional because sutures alone don't hold as well. But that's literally what the consult is for — get 2-3 opinions and see if they agree.

Same boat (30, puffy lids). I'm noticing clinics that answer this the same way after looking at photos feel more trustworthy than ones that say "anything is possible!!"

Yes!! the "anything is possible" energy is a red flag for me too

Line height matters more than method for the "obvious" look IMO. Bring photos of what you want AND what you don't want.
